  1. To “German Government Collapse”:

    Under the German constitution, the Bundestag is elected by popular vote. You cannot directly vote for the chancellor, as it is up to the largest party or coalition in Bundestag to choose the chancellor. Once in power, the Chancellor chooses ministers according to his agenda and is free to dismiss them. On the other hand, this can mean losing the majority that keeps him in power.

    That’s it for now, it must not lead to a new election.
