I find myself checking the date on the article assuming it’s a case I’ve already read about, but no it’s just the same terrible story repeating in different parts of the country.
Sentences ranging from 3½ years to 22 years.
Also, note that this case has been ongoing since 2016 and has been kept pretty much entirely secret until now. Which is exactly how a lot of people on this sub want things to work.

I think I heard ages of 12-15 on the news last night but the article is silent
As this is a child sex trafficking ring, it should be like a drug trafficking ring where they seize every asset off these people
My sister fostered a 15 year old girl last year that came from a family that sold her into this shit, she was back in their taxis within a week as its all she knew
She had to be moved 3 weeks later as if she wasn’t in their cars, she was with my sister at CAHMS
Today I know that children just like her will be being picked up from outside the school gates because this shit is endemic where you have large groups of men, especially with origins from Pakistan living in poorer communities
We need to start criminalising transporting kids in the way they do, so we can hit these assholes the moment they get a child in their vehicles as that’s where it all starts

It always surprises me how the sentencing is SO LOW.
You have men raping underage girls, and they get what like 7 years? How it is even possible?
But then you get some other news about pedophiles, unrelated to these cases, and they get like 20+ years.
Shouldn’t all the men in this case also get 20+ years?

It’s crazy how frequently this is happening. Its crazy how it’s not talked about much. I doubt it will even get on the national news.
That’s an average of about 11 years each.
Which seems incredibly short.
The rapes and assaults are obviously the most horrific aspect in these cases but the fact some are likely relatives is disgusting. What low life families are these men from where relatives will be grooming children together?
People still trying to gaslight you into thinking this is completely in proportion and not a cultural issue.
