    “Look, the president signed that executive order. It’s the position of the president in this White House that it’s well within his authority to do it, otherwise he wouldn’t have signed it. And he signed it, and that’s his policy,” Leavitt said.

    According to Leavitt’s logic, Trump’s order to investigate Krebs was not an “abuse of power” for the simple fact that Trump was the one doing it. It doesn’t get more authoritarian than that.

Let’s begin to talk about this man we falsely sent to cecot, only to shift to a murdered white woman from a completely different illegal immigrant, and question why that is ok for dems to allow and how the White House thinks it’s bad the media keeps asking about the other guy and wants him back, even though SCOTUS ruled twice he needs to be returned.

  12. We’re rapidly becoming not a Nation of Laws but a Nation of Executive Orders. An example Harvard failed to obey Trumps EO regarding DEI, so their Money was revoked, and their tax exempt status threatened. Now if they were breaking a law, charge them, take them to Court and make them comply. However their Admission policies are not breaking any laws, allowing their students to protest the Gaza conflict is a 1st Amendment right, so not doing what the Administration wants results in their Grant money for important research being revoked. Not awarded to another College because they are better or their study is more important, it’s revoked simply because they’re not obedient to the Administration.

  16. Leavitt isn’t even 30 yet. Imagine tarnishing your career for Trump – a man who, with any luck, will be brought down and brought to justice for the egregious and horrific crimes he has committed and will continue to commit.

    Shame, so early in her career she gave up any chance of respect and longevity. Once this hellish nightmare administration is over, Leavitt will remain a pariah – worse than Spicer, Sanders, and everyone else who lied to the American people on Trump’s behalf. I wish her nothing but the absolute worst.

    Their argument also means that any future administration has the right to take the most egregious offenders of our laws and send them to foreign gulags without due process.

    I hope the Republican party considers what that precedent means… for them. They’re saying that a Dem controlled government (or even Trump himself) could decide to send any of them to a foreign prison without trial or due process under the law.
