My friend from Schaan says it was carpentry Wachter. The house is still there, the back isnt.
She wrote me:
The house in Schaan is in the old Riet, when you turn from Bretscha into the old Riet opposite Ivoclar.
It used to be the Wachter carpenter’s workshop, the former daughter-in-law of the boss is an acquaintance of ours and my father grew up in the house next door. When the carpenter’s workshop moved, it was Ivoclar’s staff quarters.
Another source wrote me: There is (or was) ‘Im Rietle’. My mother thinks that she lived there as a toddler. If it is the house, it belonged to her grandfather. It was the Wachter carpenter’s workshop. The house was sold to Ivoclar.

Could it be next to Ivoclar on the opposite of the narrow one way street? Behind the building that has all the political banners put up maybe?
I’ll probably drive by next week, will try to remember taking a picture (if I’m right).
