Ukraine claims to have destroyed Russian navy vessel in Crimea

A commander of Ukraine’s air force says a Russian Navy vessel has been destroyed in the Crimean port city of Feodosia.

Russia’s defence ministry confirmed the ship had been damaged and claimed two Ukrainian jets had been shot down – which Ukraine has denied.

Sky’s military analyst Sean Bell says “metrics of success in this war are not about ships destroyed” but “territory gain”.

  5. The presenter appears pro Russian in my view. Understanding military gains is not always about small increments of land seized, if your logistics are slowly being eroded, that will have an escalating impact on your ability to maintain your minor gains, please remember the large gains Ukraine has made over this period. Challenging Russias meat wave will always prove difficult until Russian supply lines are drastically reduced

  11. This reporter is definitely coming across as pro-Russia. Talking down Ukraine’s activities, talking up Russia and calling it a “special military operation”. This is not balanced reporting and I won’t be watching any Sky channels if this continues.
