Ukraine has carried out a missile strike on the port of Feodosiya in Crimea, damaging a Russian warship.

Russia’s Ministry of Defence said the large landing ship Novocherkassk was struck and damaged by Ukrainian aircraft carrying guided missiles.

The head of the Ukrainian Air Force claimed its warplanes had destroyed the ship.

One person was killed in the attack, according to the Russian authorities in Crimea. Several others were reportedly hurt.

Ukraine was attacked unprovoked by a much bigger country when they had no weapons and had already had part of their country annexed, it's despicable, but they have done better than most people thought possible. If this happened to russia cowardly Putin would be the first one on a private jet fleeing the country like he did when Wagner was approaching

  18. With the BBC it is always the Russian ships getting hit but not Ukranian ships or planes ever..maybe according to them Ukraine has won the war and hence can have the victory celebrations

  35. I disagree that time is not Ukraine's friend. It is their country, so they are unlikely to surrender to Russia. The war is costing both sides, but Russia cannot triumph in the medium or long run.
