Israel-Gaza: Palestinians search for survivors and dig through rubble following bombardment

The health ministry in Hamas-run Gaza said Friday at least 21,507 people have been killed in the Palestinian territory since war with Israel broke out nearly 12 weeks ago.

The figure includes 187 fatalities over the past 24 hours, a ministry statement said. It added that 55,915 people have been wounded in Gaza during the fighting.

More than 80 per cent of Gaza’s 2.4 million people have been driven from their homes, according to the United Nations.

  1. Isn't it about time we call this what it is…genocide.

It's fairly obvious at this point. They're not hiding it and even when they do try to hide it, they can't even be bothered to make it remotely believable.

  2. Albert Einstein "I should much rather see reasonable agreement with the Arabs on the basis of living together in peace than the creation of a Jewish state. My awareness of the essential nature of Judaism resists the idea of a Jewish state with borders, an army, and a measure of temporal power, no matter how modest."

  3. Maybe they should not have attacked Israel in the first instance this time round. And they count much faster than any believable system- did the Germans release exact casualty figures after air raids? No one ever did, but Hamas health authority mange it every time. Sounds like bullsh1t.

  4. The media is quick to conclude that anti-zionism = anti-semitism. Personally, I view everyone with a sky daddy and a story book with equal contempt.

It seems WW2 gave "the jews" the right to do what they like and pull the victim card when it suits them.

We should not have given them someone else's country. They shouldn't be there and this shouldn't be happening.

Remember, there were other groups of people in the holocaust as well, but jews jews and jews making it all about them again.

Give both sides nukes and let them sort it out. They are both primitive feral countries (albeit with some modern tech).

We should not be sending any money to them or playing any part in any of this global BS.

  5. Jordan's King Hussein 1980 killed 25.000 Palestinians in 11 days . And it was none other than Pakistan’s General Muhammad Zia-Ul-Haq, then a Brigadier, who helped King Hussein carry out the massacre of 25,000 Palestinians, in what is now known as Black September of 1980

  6. Wherever there are so called muslims, disaster will definately follows. Athough know Prophet Muhammed is a true prophet of God and Allah is God but so called muslims they are muslims only by names except one or two.

  7. We decent human beings in the diaspora who stand against Israeli apartheid and oppression need to activate, connect and organise and start putting immense pressure on the hypocritical governments of the West who are propping up Israel, especially the US. We can:

    * Use our votes in elections and vote out any Pro-Israeli politicians. There are more of us around the world than there are Pro- Israelis, we can do this if we organise! This will scare the hell out of the “other team” and they will try to counter it but we can do it.

    * Second point and it’s almost more important. Most of us Pro- Palestinians are highly educated and now have money in our pockets. We need to put this into use for the cause. Companies, celebrities and politicians specifically in the West will not let anything come in the way of their income. If we organise and boycott any Pro-Israeli entity or person, they will soon change their tune, in the least they will stop their public support for Israel.

    * Third and final point, we need to do something to help good Palestinian leaders to take the leadership positions on the ground in Palestine to represent their people and capitalise on above points. They need to deliver a just two-state solution urgently.

We can do this, it might take a while but justice is on our side and we have to stand hand in hand with the Palestinians. The arc of history is long but it bends towards justice. Be part of making history, join us in freeing Palestine!

  8. How can the 0.2% of the world population; have so much power..???
They've been Ethnically Cleansing Palestinians, without any ACCOUNTABILITY since the Balfour Declaration was issued… over 100 YEARS AGO..!!!
