I think it’s absolutely crucial that men are able to find some avenue to talk about their feelings.

I think so much is being said now about the importance of men talking about their feelings um and this this hopefully will be another addition to that this is about a specific problem hopefully this story will encourage men to talk and to seek advice and help for

Whatever problem they have I think it’s I mean I think it’s absolutely crucial that that men are able to find some Avenue to talk and uh talk about their feelings you know it’s uh it it’s become a a big problem and uh I think we need

To show the US older men need to show the way to younger men that it’s okay to just you know tell someone how you’re feeling through lack of communication and um expressing your emotions people drift apart and and you become lonely and I think yeah it’s

Really important that we we try to just get over the fact that we’re worry that someone’s going to laugh at you for something you know and and because you need to deal with these things

  1. I think there’s a balance. Getting men to know that it’s okay to talk and ask for help if they’re really struggling. But society needs to stop then over pushing of men when it comes to talking and being emotional, and be realistic and sensible with expectations.

  2. So true come on all guys reading this don't bottle it up branch out show your feelings if you need help seek it . Be strong if it helps your mental health and mind

  3. How often do you see a news article where a guy had decided to stab the kids and wife to death, rather than deal with their issues because "it's not being manly".

It's pretty ridiculous how common it is now. The latest ONS data shows that:

"For the majority of female homicide victims aged 16 years and over where a suspect had been identified, that suspect was their partner or ex-partner."

  4. Was raised by a man. (No mom). Had 5 brothers. A couple of them definitely talk about their feels. I'm a woman who bottles things up… my husband was the only boy and had 3 sisters. He bottles things up, but probably because he had a father. Regardless, it is cultural and it is taught. You have to learn what you are taught isn't always the right way.
