Some of the neighbors houses are an absolute you disaster the roofs missing Gable ends gone um cars squished with all the stone and that’s come off the houses I got a phone call from my mom she lives locally and she’s been unfortunate with her roof’s come part of

Their roofs come off and it’s landed on their brand new very expensive car so which is a real shame our friends who we were with also live on this estate and I think they’ve H they’ve come off a bit worse than us um unfortunately so we’ve all got evacuated and we’ve not really

Been back since it was dark so we could see big piles of Dey and and people’s bits of houses missing but we couldn’t see our own we were in the middle of a Terrace so it was a bit harder to see but we were safe and that was the main

Thing we’ve got insurance hopefully that will be covered and you know when things like this happen there’s lots of people who are worse soft than us so we can’t really you know complain too much

Stalybridge resident Hayley McCaffer said her neighbours’ houses were in “an absolute disaster” after a “localised tornado” damaged about 100 properties in Stalybridge, Greater Manchester.

“Some of our neighbours’ houses are an absolute disaster – roofs missing, gable ends gone, cars squished with all the stone that’s come off the houses.”
