Japan Airlines fire: Passenger jet bursts into flames in Tokyo
A Japan Airlines passenger jet was engulfed in flames on the runway at Tokyo’s Haneda International Airport after reportedly being involved in a collision with another aircraft.
Security camera footage showed a ball of flames exploding into the night sky as the aircraft touched down.
JAL Flight 516 hit a smaller plane as it touched down, reportedly a turbo-prop Embraer DHC8-315 being operated by the Japan Coast Guard.
All 379 of the passengers and crew were safely evacuated.

God protect us🙏🙏🙏
The safest way to travel….but definitely not the safest way to leave or arrive.
Thank goodness everyone got off with no loss of life🙏
Human error again. They need to be replaced with AI.
This would have been chaos in the United States. The crews would have been pros but American passengers would be all over the crushing and pushing
My God 😥 R.I.P A350
Glad i wasn't on that
Japan 🇯🇵 having so much bad luck in 2024 😢😢🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻 I pray for them
I swear that was their first A350 as well. Sam Chui did a video on their inauguration just a few weeks ago. Horrible situation but apparently everyone evacuated safely which is good news.
Someone's getting fired no pun intended
The relative calmness of the passengers helped them all exit the wreckage in a rapid and orderly fashion, ensuring that everyone was able to exit the plane alive.
Imagine the sheer terrible carnage that could have happened if this incident was to have happened in say the Middle East or africa.
Thank God all safe 🙏 be investigation to how this was allowed to happen
Scary
Only japanese spoken on the plane during the emergency 🤦♂️
looks like Controllers f'd up
were they all playing games and too busy to direct the planes ?
A tough plane to take a collision and survive long enough for everyone to evacuate.
RIP the Coast Guards, on their way to try to help others🙏
Where on gods green earth is John Mclane? ……. MCLANE!

Allah is greater only. People think he is powerful but not at all.
bomb nuklir from thailand 😀🤣🤣🤣🤣
It's only the second day of 2024 and already many disasters have struck Japan – the country I love😢.
Pray for Japan to be safe and not have any more disasters🙏🇯🇵
Do oxygen masks only come down when it’s in the air coz of a loss in cabin pressure?
Japan can't even catch a break, may they find hope and comfort in these trying times
Nothing much bad happens in Japan for years and years, then everything happens at once.
Every year in the first few months japan just has to have issues
Looks like landed with out landing gear and fire was cause due to friction with the ground and eventually fuel leak from the wings catching fire. Probably unable to extend landing gear due some technical problems.
❤ Japan always look after their people
They can handle every every thing
Not like uk
Every thing stops
Nobody knows want to do
Take lesson from Japan
Thank God lives saved
