Dominic West’s Prince Charles impression | The Graham Norton Show – BBC

But isn’t it nuts to be playing Prince Charles I mean is the pressure of that greater or less to be playing a very very famous person yeah there’s an enormous pressure on the crown because it was such a successful show before I went in and Josh did such a great job

And and but at the end of the day you’ve got to do you’ve got to do parts that appeal to you and that you know that not that many come along you know we’ve got to take whatever you know when you got a juicy part like that you can’t turn it

Down and I love playing him he was brilliant are the short cuts into playing him well there is a bit I sort of I sort of you know pointing he’s a very funny man is he he always point so I point a I do a lot of point I

Do a lot of fiddling and then I saw this This brilliant doc this documentary of many documentaries on him that um he did with Jonathan dimble where he’s on a plane and he’s talking about he said you know I don’t do this for for my own good

You know I do this for Jolly Old Britain and I thought it was so funny this Jolly Old Britain every time I every time I was trying to get into him on set I just go Jolly Old Britain and I was [Laughter] in

  1. Dominic West was in a American TV series called The Wire. About Baltimore City, much of it was non-fictional..
This I don't understand I have never seen him as a particularly handsome man, being a man a straight man I know what an attractive gentleman looks like, he is average at best..
However the next Batman movie where they need the Joker, I've always said they won't even have to change any makeup because his smile or mouth would make a great Joker

  2. And an impression was what it was…not a performance. I truly thought he was awful- reminded me of Jack Lemons over the top prince in The Great Race.
