Greta Thunberg’s public order charge has been thrown out by a district judge.

The 21-year-old, from Sweden, was arrested during a demonstration near the InterContinental Hotel in Mayfair, London, on Oct 17 as oil executives met inside for a conference.

Miss Thunberg pleaded not guilty to breaching Section 14 of the Public Order Act 1986 alongside two Fossil Free London (FFL) protesters and two Greenpeace activists.

  1. They may have been throne out but by the looks of there faces there was conditions. Yes we need to make changes but the way they are trying to do it is going to do nothing and is not the way to go about it. To them it's about getting their face in the news has nothing to do with making a difference if they wanted to make a difference they would have a fundraiser and get a good lawyer and try to get the taxes of big companies raised that have the biggest impact on are climate and try changing the laws to make thos companies update so they have less of a impact on are climate to try to shut down the oil companies is unrealistic everything that we wear today and her medicine and medical and much more necessities rely on that oil. So it is impractical to try to shut it down and would be more practical to have them update their companies so they would have less of an impact on our climate and have them pay more taxes.

  2. This parasite travels around the world and gets arrested all the time. How come most countries let her inside their territories? That means any person with a criminal record can travel free around the world.

  3. And after the young gentleman says his piece on the microphone, he heads on over to the restaurant and gets a big chunk of steak because steak has no climate footprint. This is a joke.
