Germany’s defence minister has accused Russia of conducting an ‘information war’ aimed at creating divisions within the country, in his first comments after the publication of an audio recording of a meeting of senior German military officials.

i think he’s blaming Putin for literally leaking the call. many parties see espionage as necessary and everyone knows it happens. what these people don’t like are leaks as the russian did during the US election etc.
i mean i certain russia knew before the leak that there are still SAS guys in Ukraine. but the leaks simply hurt Germany.

I like how nobody thinks of the idea that it was planed from the Germans to let the Russians hear that call. Im from Germany and the chances that high-ranked generals make a mistake like that are super low. The Bundeswehr ist highly regulated and to become a general here you have to be an expert of those saftey mechanism. Dont think too simple.
