This is really grasping at straws. If you dig around anything you can find "something" hidden that'll offend someone. I really believe someone with free time just made the connection and thought "wow, it's like the SS symbol". Same thing with the lady who said the Monster logo was the "witchcraft" logo.

Noone views 44 as a Nazi symbol or a far right wing "code".
This number was only shown in a certain typography which could remind of the SS symbol in this form (most people associate it with dangerous electrical power).
The seemingly SS similar code represents a tool to kill wolfs (Wolfsangel/wolve hook).
