They would be better off guarding their beaches and stopping illegal immigrants from crossing the Channel .
Are they offering a service to the British public to get rid of the Windsor clan, please help?
They are NOT going to guard the palace, which duty is ONLY for Commonwealth troops.
They may March together, but they SPECIFALLY NOT guarding the King or the pallace.
Two World Wars, the British and French, have been allies against Germany, but there has never been any trust between the two countries, Infact prior to WW1 Germany and England were always close, The English are Germanic anyway.
I hope they were relieved at 18.15 hr on the dot.
And the Queens guards did the same at the Elysée Palace
Why??? Sacrilege! Is this to get us used to accepting the idea of a European military force of the united states of europe? Perhaps? Mission creep. I don't buy the 120 year anniversary boll***s. 120 years is not a round anniversary number.
I think this all goes to show, the sad state of this country…. since our dear Queen died, its all gone to pot!
I think keeping a good relationship with friends and allies is always good
Somethings fishy: British & french soldiers protecting the german Saxo-Coburg bloodline? (Aka "Windsor")
That’s a shame! Brits, where do your traditions go?!? Franchement mais n’importe quoi!! La France une « république » avec une garde républicaine pour garder un symbole de la royauté que nous avons abolie chez nous?!?
Vraiment un monde de tarés…
Can any one remember the tv show bravo.
That’s weird! Why French troops?
In the future the world will consist of only 10 nations. Nations will combine. I think this is the beginning of that. This is explained in the book of Daniel and Revelation in the Bible
How about France stopping illegal immigrants leaving its shores, heading for ours? Then mention ‘Entente Cordiale’.
Wonderful. Love to see this. Beautiful to see such great friendship between the two countries. The past is in the past.
They could try using these skills on their coastline ,stop all the dinghies
…. and they surrendered.
Tourist: "I've always dreamt of seeing the famous English guards, with their funny costumes and long, black, bushy hats, finally the day is happening !"
"Guard at Bunkingham: "Bonjour".
Good to see these two countries despite many years of conflict in the past they still have each other.
Remember, the French imperial Guards considered to be the best during 18th century, but later on defeated by the Duke of Wellington with his Red Coat army together with the Great Prussian Army.
Nevertheless British and French now considered brothers.
So we not only beat the Frenchies during the Napoleonic Wars but we heaped further humiliation upon them by stealing their hats.
How degrading that must have been for the French nation.
Welcome to London my friend solldiers of France.
Red flag
French people travelling to London: “we finally made it!”
Everyone please 🙏, shut up about spinning in their graves!!
This is wrong, the French shouldn't be guarding our palace, we should. These french soldiers arent King's guards, we are.
The title of this video appears to be misleading. From what is understood, the French soldiers weren't actually being posted as sentries at Buckingham Palace. They were only participating in the ceremony. Right?
Interesting 🤔, Why? No historical animosity…
Napoleon's dream finally comes true. Not exactly for the same reasons, but French troops eventually set foot in London 😂
The two strongest nations in history sharing a lot of history. May one day the UK and France reign again as the top world powers.
Well de Gaulle is turning in his grave. He wouldn't even celebrate D-day, as he called it the new occupation. Now you have Macron hapily watching models of the battle of Waterloo when he's being invited to England, as the unfolding of the battle is being recited to him. De Gaulle or any self respecting leader would have left furious. Our own leaders don't respect this country, that's why we're heading where we're headed.
It didn't start yesterday, it's a constant of the twentieth century. We could celebrate the Crimean War or the Great War, not whatever this is.
Vive la France!
Messir Bonaparte, this is for you ! ❤💙
Okay, so we get the Coldstream guards, the ones that charged with bayonnets under cannonades at waterloo, overran Sevastopol, stood their grounds against the french in Egypt and Madhists in sudan and have been around for 400 years of continuous fighting for their empire.
And they get the Gendarmerie, the one that is hated by the people all around the country and whose only purpose is catching drunk drivers on country roads 😂😂😂
I'm sorry Britain, nothing personnal, but we'll keep your vets, you'll keep whatever we sent 👋
Guy's this is our country now. Your king is our hostage
Please don't resist
Coldstream Guards were in Paris
The two strongest countries in the world
