Nigel Farage: ‘Reform will win more votes than the Tories next election’ | Exclusive

Nigel Farage predicted Reform will get more votes than the Tories at the next election.

Mr Farage is taking questions from Camilla Tominey and Telegraph subscribers in a special live event presented by The Telegraph Politics Newsletter.

The former Ukip leader said: “Eighty-seat majority, the world at their feet… I helped them do it and look what they’ve done with it. I think Reform will get, with or without me, more votes than the Conservatives at the next election, in terms of numbers. How that transpires in terms of seats is absolutely anybody’s guess.

“But I can see the momentum… May 2 is going to be a disaster with the Conservatives, obviously it’s going to be measured at the high point of 2021. There’ll be a leadership contest, Rishi will win, he’ll limp on… There is no good news coming for the Conservatives.”

One of the most recognisable figures in British politics, Mr Farage led the UK Independence Party (UKIP) until 2016 and played a pivotal part in campaigning for Britain’s exit from the European Union.

  1. Farage didn't believe in Brexit either, he ran away as soon as it looked like real work needed to be done. He's only back now because he knows he wouldn't be in charge of actually fixing this mess

  2. Farage supports Trump and the MAGA crowd who are blocking aid to Ukraine. Last night more energy infrastucture and human life was destroyed due to lack of air defence. Trump and by association Farage and Reform are being controlled directly or indirectly by Russia whilst Ukraine burns.

  3. Reform UK is an EXCITING vote isn't it? They have good people and attractive policies and they talk common sense, do we REALLY want more Tory/Labour? After all we've seen and experienced over the years? ……………… Be part of the SOLUTION, NOT the problem ……………… VOTE REFORM UK!
