You need to consider that getting a player for free and then paying him 6m in wage is the same as buying another one for 12m with a 3 year contract and paying 2 million of wages. The yearly cost is the same, for player 1 everything goes in wages and for player 2 you have 4m in amortization and 2 in wages.
My point is that “parametri zero” are not free players as it might seem.
