  3. I have the feeling that in today’s football media landscape you can’t trust transfer rumors about incoming players from sources that don’t come from your teams own country. Very often it comes from either agents who want leverage for negotiations or from websites that want clicks and / or just throw random names around.

    I am also a fan from a german team and if e.g. Corriere dello Sport would write something connecting them to some Serie A player, I would also seriously doubt it.

    To this specific rumor:

    From what I have seen, he does not seem to fit our tactics as he mainly plays LW … so I guess what I have written above seems to apply. Also his stats on fbref do not exactly impress.
