Ukraine claims Russia launched a cross-border ground offensive into Ukraine’s Kharkiv region and civilians were being evacuated amid the fighting. Ukraine’s Defence Ministry said “the enemy attempted to break through our defence line under the cover of armoured vehicles”. A Ukrainian military official said Russia had advanced into Ukraine by a kilometre and was trying to “create a buffer zone” to prevent attacks into Russian territory. Zelensky on May 9 promised to stop the Russian offensive as soon as he receives Western weapons. Meanwhile, the Lithuanian Foreign Minister wants to send NATO troops to Ukraine, echoing French President Macron’s troop deployment initiative.

  1. I thought Germany had a bit more sense and understanding when they lost to the Soviets in WW2 when the Red Army hoisted the Red flag over the Reichstag on 2nd May 1945 representing 'Total Victory' over Nazi Germany, so they think they will have success this time.

The Nazi loving comedian is getting played by the U.S. just to sell their old weapons, test and buy new weapons, and test the Russian military might, while attempting to cripple the Russian economy!
