Zelensky Says Ukraine Needs Two Patriots To Defend Kharkiv Amid Russian Assault, US: More Aid On Way

US Secretary of State Antony Blinken arrived in Kyiv on May 14 to show US solidarity with Ukraine as it struggles in the battlefield. Blinken arrived by overnight train from Poland on an unannounced trip and met Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky. Zelensky told Blinken Kyiv needs two Patriot air defence batteries for Kharkiv as the region is being pummelled by Russian air strikes. Russia continued its attack on towns and villages in Ukraine’s northeastern Kharkiv region. Ukraine’s security council chief said Kyiv sees no risk of an imminent ground assault on Kharkiv. US President Joe Biden signed into law a ban on Russian-enriched uranium on May 13. Watch the video to find out more.

  6. Everything is very clear: Zelensky is fighting for the USA, not for Ukraine. Thousands of deaths are for the West. Ukraine people will punish Zelensky sooner or later.

  7. Zelensky is an evil fool. He knows he will lose, but just keeps trying to damage Russia. He doesn't care how many Ukrainians die in the process.

  8. Blinken is a wicked liar. He is also guilty of conflict of interest as he and Sec for Defense Austin co-own a network of shell companies built around the US weapons industry and did not declare them. Shell companies are often used to bury main stock holdings which would otherwise be frozen upon taking office. Both men have therefore cheated the US and Ukrainian people and both were key in the Biden-led plot when he was VP to Obama to bribe Kiev, precipitate the Maidan rising and earmark Ukraine to be used for US proxy war on Russia.
    By continuing to provide weapons to Zelenskyy's failed regime Blinken prolongs the conflict and people die, are maimed, forced into uniform or leave the martial law dying republic unless they are caught by Kiev's mercenary militias.
    Blinken knows that Kharkiv will not get Patriot systems. No more are being sent at all. Zelenskyy says that the region needs Patriots but why did he not buy systems between 2019 and 2022? No other former Soviet satellite state entirely failed to equip defense forces except Ukraine. Instead, it relied on Russia to keep sending spares and replacements until Kiev broke its agreement with Russia over autonomous regions (formerly republics), tried to wriggle out the Kerch Bridge joint venture after spending Russian and other countries' credit loans.
    Russia and other also sued to get unpaid interest on other debts. By 1994 Rep of Ukraine was the most indebted state in the hemisphere. Obama, the Biden family, HR Clinton, V Nuland, J Sullivan and A Merkel saw an opportunity to effectively buy the Kiev Rada.
    The rest of Ukraine was brutally neglected and emigration figures were hidden.

    This visit by Blinken will probably be his last. There is news that US embassy staff are leaving "on early summer vacations" and US tech and finance companies which retained 'shop window' offices in Kiev are in process of moving US managers to such as Dublin or straight home.
    This is the typical pattern of US running running away from lost causes dating back to Vietnam.
    Kharkiv city usually makes deals with Moscow, because it dependent on Russian railways to export its produce. As Russia builds its buffer zones and oblast towns and villages are cleared of AFU troops, people there are complaining that evacuations are by local police and volunteers because Kiev NEVER had any evacuation plans and treated civilians with contempt. Many have chosen to cross the border into Russia where they have relatives or friends.
    The western narrative has consistently failed to try to understand the realities of familial ties in the north east and Donbas and the USA did not even question how weapons were being used to protect civilians. The US elite was only interested in territory and damaging Russia.
    It is looking increasingly unlikely that an evacuation plan for the martial law government will proceed and Zelenskyy will most likely seek refuge in Russia to escape facing the Ukrainian people.
    This could happen within a week.
