more than 2,000 people appeared to have been buried alive after a deadly Landslide tore through a village in Papa new guini on Friday authorities have said villagers in Anger Province said the landslide which struck early in the morning was like an exploding bomb wiping out more than 100 homes while people were asleep residents have been using sticks and Spades to remove buried bodies but a few have been recovered because of limited access and how heavy and deep the rubble is making exact casualty figures hard to establish Papa new guine government has ordered the country’s Defense Force and emergency agencies to the area and has called for more International assistance
