Villagers in landslide-hit areas of Papua New Guinea’s Enga Province have gathered to conduct rescue and clean-up operations, footage shows.

Papua New Guinea ruled out finding survivors under the rubble of the landslide. The exact number of dead under the debris and mud remained unknown but ranged from hundreds to thousands.
