this pier off the coast of Gaza was supposed to deliver Aid to Palestinians facing famine but new satellite images show that the pier which is built by the US military has broken apart after less than two weeks since it opened this image was taken on the 26th of May you can see the floating Pier which was used to unload Aid of ships and the steel Causeway used to transport it onto land both are still intact but look at this just 3 days later on the 29th of May both the pier and the causeway have disappeared with only a small part next to the beach remaining the US has a damage caused by strong winds and Heavy Seas and that it will take at least a week to repair the pier cost about $320 million to build and only 137 lorries of Aid made it off the pier and onto warehouses in Gaza since it opened some Aid is being taken by desperate civilians on Route humanitarian groups say more than 500 Aid lores a day are needed to feed millions of Palestinians on the brink of salvation
