Russia is currently in the midst of a new offensive in Ukraine one that could change the very course of the war the goal is simple Putin wants to take more land to pressure Ukraine to come to the negotiation table however halting the war could come at a cost for Ukraine the Russian president wants a ceasefire based on the current battle Battlefield lines which basically would mean Ukraine
