Donald Trump can still run for the presidency the US Constitution doesn’t prevent a candidate from running for office even if they’re behind bars it’s happened before in 1920 Eugene Debs the Socialist Party candidate ran for the White House despite being in jail for sedition Donald Trump technically could face up to four years in jail realistically he won’t as a firsttime nonviolent offender as long as he’s not in jail he’ll be able to cast his vote come November’s election that can be complicated in Florida where he’s resident by a criminal conviction but it follows the lead of the convicting state in this case New York no prison no problem here Donald Trump does of course face three other criminal trials but they’re unlikely to take place before November’s election how will it impact on the Trump vote at the election that will be a matter for the American public at large but opinion PS at this stage indicate it will have a negative impact on the Trump vote

  38. Trump,he maybe the first time got convicted but he has been a criminal for a long time. Kind of like a drunk driver got caught for the first time but has been doing it for hundreds of time.
