and will be most reliable you are right that to settle agreements with such authorities is really hard because they lie at every step all armed conflicts end with some sort of peace agreement to tell the truth a former leader of a quite significant European country said to me all these agreements may be based on either a military defeat or a military victory of course we aim to and we will achieve Victory on the battlefield the Russia installed governor of Ukraine’s southern region of kauw has accused Ukrainian forces of killing 22 people and wounding 15 in shelling of the small town of sadov Governor Vladimir Salo said that Ukrainian forces purposely struck the area a second time using a US supplied High Mars missile to inflict the largest possible number of casualties another Russia installed governor in Lans an occupied region situated in northeast of Ukraine said that a Ukrainian strike killed three people and wounded 35 Russia’s defense Ministry said that the Ukrainian forces had used us supplied ATMs missiles on the attack on the city of lohans the war claws are hovering over Europe as the rhetoric keep rising in a stock departure from its postor War II pacifist stance Germany is taking decisive steps to bolster its military capabilities this move comes amid growing concerns over Russia’s aggressive actions and the potential for a broader conflict take a look at this report [Music] [Music] Russia is pounding the Ukrainian front lines ke has ordered an evacuation from donet region Moscow says Russian forces are occupying more advantageous positions on the front lines in the past 24 hours Moscow claims Russian forces are attacking different targets including Ukrainian Ammunition Depot drone launch SES and even temporary deployment areas but beyond the borders of Ukraine there is fear the conflict is spilling over now in a stark turnaround from its LGH held pacifist stance Germany is rapidly reinforcing its armed forces the move is in direct response to Russia’s full scale invasion of Ukraine that has dramatically altered Europe security landscape Berlin says it should be ready for War by 2029 and at the same time it goes without saying that we must not neglect our own defense and Readiness Putin’s War economy is gearing up for another conflict we need to be combat ready by 2029 we must provide deterrence to prevent things from escalating that’s the German defense minister vocal about the need for a stronger military even suggesting the reintroduction of some form of military service the country is investing heavily in its defense ordering 20 more Euro Fighter jets from Airbus and two more frigates for its Navy signaling a sea change in Berlin’s defense policy the decision to allow Ukraine to hit select Targets on Russian soil with German supplied weapons has drawn sharp criticism from Russian President Vladimir Putin initially reluctant Germany joined forces with its Western Partners ukra Ukraine has the right to defend itself they have the right to strike military Targets on the Russian territory and we have the right help them with that the head of the NATO military committee has urged the West to prepare for an allout war with Russia meanwhile the US plans to deploy nuclear weapons in the UK for the first time in 15 years citing the growing Russian threat President Putin on the other hand is vowing to deploy weapons near Western Nations clearly the tone is getting striller bu report beond world is one all right so that of course is the big threat that this war that is presently ongoing in Ukraine could actually spread well beyond the borders of Ukraine and to help us make sense of what’s actually happening we’re being joined by Mr Yim bck who’s a former German ambassador to Nato and also a former European diplomatic and security advisor to the German former German Chancellor helmet Cole and is joining us live on this broadcast now Ambassador ble this this is something that’s being talked about quite a bit there are different estimates that are being put forth as to when this war could spread beyond the borders of Ukraine the German defense minister Boris Pistorius says that Germany should be prepared for war but 2029 Poland has said that the war could come knocking on their Gates but as early as 2027 that is in 3 years from now so as the longer this war drags on in Ukraine what is the likelihood that that it can actually spell over into different nations in Europe well nothing is more difficult than any look at in into the future the problem is pistorio and the German government are in front of a situation where the German Army is no more Ready for War or capable of entering with forces in a real war please don’t forget this war in Ukraine has been a deep shock for the Germans the Germans have become in the last 30 years let’s say more and more pacifistic less is believing in the necessity of a real army therefore reduction of budget reduction of ammunition reduction of equipment only small forces don’t forget the last forces used have been have gone to former Yugoslavia to the Balkans and then to Afghanistan Afghanistan that’s say in a small little corner in the Northwest for the Germans uh but this has not been let’s say a Army in training or in use as the French army or the American one has been in the last 30 years therefore this shock this uh let’s say this need of re becoming a we getting a real army in Germany and I think borus is realistic M when he’s speaking about the need for four or five years to be there that you may use a ger army take one example the Germans have promised to Lithuania in the northeast of Europe near to the Russian border uh with this Russian EX exclave in Kinard to set up there a brigade 2 it’s 27 please bear in mind what does it mean three four years to set up a brigade in a foreign country uh it may be too late if you imagine Russia could let’s say reinforce hybrid War even let’s say small Wars Beyond Ukraine in the baltics OR in near Romania mova uh Etc the German and the European armies have to be prepared right and there is there are two armies in Europe prepared to real conflict the French and the British you know I think you raised an important question here but but this is something that I’m sure a lot of people within Germany would also be talking about is the German Chancellor Olaf schz sleepwalking into a conflict in Ukraine behind the United States of America but permitting Ukraine to use German made long range missiles I think long range meths is another question schs after consultation with the British the French and the Americans it’s the former quad they have been uh sounding Out to what extent the Ukraine could be allowed to use Western weapons and it had been allowed to use these weapons Beyond The Border but only towards military objects near the border let’s say the Americans speak about one 200 100 miles no more there are other targets and I don’t think at all that Olaf schul is sleep walking into a larger conflict he is the one in Europe perhaps more than other who tries to avoid any let’s say suitable escalation of a conflict right but on the other hand to go with the the alliance to go with the allies and therefore this strong let’s say coordination with the Americans and with the French you know but do you do you not Cee to have this very quickly because we’re short of time Ambassador B but do you not see the fact that the Germans allowing ukrainians to use the longrange missiles has now made Germany a target for any Russian attacks Vladimir Putin’s been pretty clear he said that any nation that lets their longrange weapons to be used by the ukrainians to Target Russia will become a Target itself but the Russians have been talking about this since the beginning and they try let’s say to push especially towards the partner in Western Europe they consider as the weakest as the most pacifist this is Germany all right I don’t think they know exactly that schz want wants to let’s say a limited support for example he has not delivered the tawus missiles the tawus missiles that could reach Moscow he refuses and I think he’s right to do so and but if you are you see the attacks coming near from the border region of belaro in the north till ex K I think the ukrainians have to be be allowed to defend themselves article 51 of un self defense and this is the meaning of what over of Schultz is saying and allowing all right we’ll have to see us to have this will of course be perceived in Moscow thank you very much indeed Ambassador bik for joining us and getting us not perspec to them the NATO military Alliance can no longer claim that it is not involved in the Ukraine war the decision of what weapons you Ukraine will fight this war with and the targets that Ukraine will strike to defend itself aren’t just being made in Kiev but in fact are being controlled directly by NATO’s Military Allies Ukraine has the right to defend itself they have the right to strike military Targets on the Russian territory and we have the right to help them with that task on the 7th of June five American manufactured longrange attacks were used to strike a building in Russian occupied luhans in which over 20 people were injured the Russian city of belgrad that is about 40 kilometers from the Ukrainian border is bearing the brunt shelling by the ukrainians has resulted in the deaths of four civilians and at least about 12 people including a child have sustained injuries Galina nin NOA a resident of Bel gr describes the moment when a Ukrainian shell struck her neighborhood oh I saw I heard it was very loud I got scared and screamed I took a few things and wanted to go to my children in the city center I thought about a taxi maybe I got out and there’s a crowd of people near the car and everything is already broken the scale of the Ukrainian attacks inside the Russian territory are nowhere near the scale of the devastation that the Russians have heaped over the ukrainians this Drone footage captured this week from Over the city of w chance in Kev will give you a glimpse of what’s been Unleashed on the ukrainians KF still controls about 70% of w chance 177,000 civilians have fled from here and soldiers are battling Street by Street to control this crucial City that’s now being reduced to complete ruins but there’s still no possibility of talks or Ceasar in this war France Germany and now the United States have given the green signal for Ukraine to strike targets inside the Russian territory using longrange missiles and Vladimir Putin has made no bones about how Russia would respond to this Western strategy we are thinking that if they consider it possible to deliver such weapons to the combat zone to launch strikes on our territory and create problems for us why don’t we have the right to supply weapons of the same type to some regions of the world where they can be used to launch strikes on sensitive facilities of the countries that do it to Russia the answer may be asymmetric if the Russian president follows through on this threat this would be a major inflection point in this war but a bigger concern that’s been flaged by the American officials is the paths taken by the Russian warships who appear to be headed for some surprise and unannounced war games in the Caribbean the United States which is tracking the Russian warships and aircraft has indicated that the Russian warships could make for calls in Cuba and even in Venezuela as they engage in this exercise of heightened air and Naval fire power the last time the Russian warships had moved into the Caribbean for military drills was in 2019 but what is different this time around is that the United States and Russia are caught in an eyeball to eyeball confrontation on the battlefields of Ukraine now even After experiencing the horrors of two World Wars the world continues to be held hostage to the actions and the rhetoric of the West Nations a day after the Russian president warned that he would deploy weapons closer to the West France is now said that it will send fighter jets to Ukraine and our next Port tells you to have things are shaping out towards in these uncertain times in the anal of history there are moments when the drum beats of War grow louder and the world is left staring at an abyss today NATO and Russia are placing nations in a similar situation France is increasingly hardening its stand pushing NATO deeper into a possible conflict with Russia in an ironic backdrop for war talks during Ukrainian president vadir Zen Ski’s visit to France for D-Day celebrations macro pledged to send Mirage 2,000 war planes to Ukraine tomorrow we will launch a new cooperation and announce the transfer of Mir 2005 French fighter jets that will allow Ukraine to protect its soil its airspace and as early as tomorrow we will start a pilot training program and transfer of planes macron’s hawkishness doesn’t stop at Hardware he’s committing to equipping and training a brigade of 4,500 Ukrainian soldiers he’s also considering zelinsky’s request to send military instructions directly into Ukraine Moscow sees the actions as a direct provocation Russia has again warned that any foreign instructors in Ukraine will be considered legitimate Targets in a series of disturbing moves Western leaders have already given ke the green light to use Western supplied weapons to strike targets inside Russia Moscow accuses Ukrainian forces of firing five us supplied atams missiles at the Russian controlled Eastern Ukrainian city of luhansk Moscow says 20 people including children are wounded in the missile attack President Putin is urging the West not to forget that Russia is a nuclear power clearly the Western Russia are increasing the stakes in a dangerous game of brinksmanship bu report beond world is one the Russian defense Ministry has accused the Ukrainian forces of firing five American supplied attack missiles at the Russian controlled Eastern Ukrainian city of luhans Russia claims at least about three people have been killed and 20 others including children have been injured in this attack the Ministries further said that four of the five missiles were shot down by air defense systems but one of the missiles damaged two attacked different targets including ammunition deports drone launch sides Etc on the other hand K has said that the Ukrainian forces have had dozens of fights with the Russian army in different directions the pokrovsk front was reportedly the fiercest Battleground between the two sides meanwhile US president joban has pledged his support for Ukraine and has announced another $225 million of Aid military aid to Kev as he met with the Ukrainian leader Vladimir zilinsky for talks in Paris the B has assured zilinski that the United States will stand with him he’s also expressed regret for the delay in getting the new Aid through the Congress and the announcement came after both leaders attended the hugely symbolic dday commemorations in northern France furthermore NATO Secretary General yens Stenberg said that there were no immediate military threats against any members of The Alliance after the Kremlin accused the west of potentially escalating the war in Ukraine the statement follows heartened tensions between Russia and the NATO members and last week the Kremlin accused the west of entering a new round of escalations intentions after US president joean lifted had used us supplied atchim missiles on the attack on the city of lohans the war claws are hovering over Europe as the rhetoric keep rising in a stark departure from its post World War II pacifist its defense ordering 20 more Euro Fighter jets from Airbus and two more frigates for its Navy signaling a sea change in Berlin’s defense policy the decision to allow Ukraine to hit select Targets on Russian soil with German supplied weapons has drawn sharp criticism from Russian President Vladimir Putin initially reluctant Germany joined forces with its Western Partners ukra Ukraine has the right to defend itself they have the right to strike military Targets on the Russian territory and have the right to help them with that the head of the NATO military committee has urged the West to prepare for an allout war with Russia meanwhile the US plans to deploy nuclear weapons in the UK for the first time in 15 years citing the growing Russian threat President Putin on the other hand is vowing to deploy weapons near Western Nations clearly the tone is getting Shiller bu report beond world is one all right so that of course is the big threat that this war that is presently ongoing in Ukraine could actually spread well beyond the borders of Ukraine and to help us make sense of what’s actually happening we’re being joined by Mr yoim bik who’s a former German ambassador to Nato and also a former European diplomatic and security adviser to the German former German Chancellor helmet Cole and is joining us live on this broadcast now Ambassador ble this this is something that’s being talked about quite a bit there are different estimates that are being put forth as to when this war could spread beyond the borders of Ukraine the German defense minister Boris Pistorius says that Germany should be prepared for War by 2029 Poland has said that the war could come knocking on their Gates but as early as 2027 that is in three years from now so as the longer this war drags on in Ukraine what is the likelihood that that it can actually spell over into different nations in Europe well nothing is more difficult than any look at in into the future the problem is pistorio and the German government are in front of a situation where the German Army is no more Ready for War or capable of entering with forces in a real war please don’t forget this war in Ukraine has been a deep shock for the Germans the Germans have become in the last 30 years let’s say more and more pacifistic less and less believing in the necessity of a real army therefore reduction of budget reduction of ammunition reduction of equipment only small forces don’t forget the last forces used have been have gone to former Yugoslavia to the Balkans and then to Afghanistan Afghanistan that’s say a small little corner in the Northwest for the Germans uh but this has not been let’s say an Army in training or in use as the French army or the American one has been in the last 30 years therefore this shock this uh let’s say this need of re becoming a re getting a real army in Germany and I think borus is realistic MH when he’s speaking about the need for four or five years to be there that you may use a army take one example the Germans have pred to Lithuania in the northwest of Europe near to the Russian border with this Russian EX exclave in Kinard to set up there a brigade 2 it’s 27 please bear in mind what does it mean three four years to set up a brigade in a foreign country uh it may be too late if you imagine Russia could let’s say reinforce hybrid War even let’s say small Wars Beyond Ukraine in the baltics OR in near Romania mova Etc the German and the European armies have to be prepared right and there is there are two armies in Europe prepared to real conflict the French and the British you know I think you raised an important question here but but this is something that I’m sure a lot of people within Germany would also be talking about is the German Chancellor Olaf schz sleepwalking into a conflict in Ukraine behind the United States of America but permitting Ukraine to use German made long range missiles I think long range methods is another question schs after consultation with the British the French and the Americans is for former quad they have been uh sounding Out to what extent the Ukraine could be allowed to use Western weapons and it had been allowed to use these weapons Beyond The Border but only towards military objects near the border let’s say the Americans speak about one 100 miles no more there are other targets and I don’t think at all that Olaf Schultz is sleep walking into a larger conflict he is the one in Europe perhaps more more than others who tries to avoid any let’s say suitable escalation of a conflict right but he on the other hand to go with the the alliance to go with the allies and therefore this strong let’s say coordination with the Americans and with the French you know but do you do you not Cee to have this very quickly because we’re short of time Ambassador B but do you not see the fact that the Germans now allowing ukrainians to use the long range missiles has now made Germany a target for any Russian attacks Vladimir Putin’s been pretty clear he said that any nation that lets their longrange weapons to be used by the ukrainians to Target Russia will become a Target itself but the Russians have been talking about this since the beginning and they try let’s say to push especially towards the partner in Western Europe they consider as the weakest as the most pacifist this is Germany I don’t think they know exactly that schz want wants to let’s say a limited support for example he has not delivered the tawus missiles the tus missiles that could reach Moscow he refuses and I think he’s right to do so and but if you are you see the attacks coming near from the border region of B in the north till K I think the ukrainians have to be allowed to defend themselves article 51 of un self defense and this is the meaning of what over Schultz is saying and allowing all right we’ll have to see us to have this will of course be perceived in Moscow thank you very much indeed Ambassador bik for joining us and getting us that perspec of them the NATO military Alliance can no longer claim that it is not involved in the Ukraine war the decision of what weapons Ukraine will fight this war with and the targets that Ukraine will strike to defend itself aren’t just being made in Kev but in fact are being controlled directly by NATO’s Military Allies Ukraine has the right to defend itself they have their right to strike military Targets on the Russian territory and we have the right to help them with that task on the 7th of June five American manufactured longrange attacks were used to strike a building in Russian occupied luhans in which over 20 people were injured the Russian city of belgrad that is about 40 km from the Ukrainian border is bearing the brunt shelling by the ukrainians has resulted in the deaths of four civilians and at least about 12 people including a child have sustained injuries Galina nin NOA a resident of belron describes the moment when a Ukrainian shell struck her neighborhood oh I saw I heard it was very loud I got scared and screamed I took a few things and wanted to go to my children in the city center I thought about a taxi maybe I got out and there’s a crowd of people near the car and everything is already broken the scale of the Ukrainian attacks inside the Russian territory are nowhere near the scale of the devastation that the Russians have heaped over the ukrainians this Drone footage captured this week week from Over the city of w chance in Kev will give you a glimpse of what’s been Unleashed on the ukrainians KF still controls about 70% of off chance 177,000 civilians have fled from here and soldiers are battling Street by Street to control this crucial City that’s now being reduced to complete ruins but there’s still no possibility of talks or Ceasar in this war France Germany and now the United States have given the green signal for Ukraine to strike targets inside the Russian territory using longrange missiles and Vladimir Putin has made no bones about how Russia would respond to this Western strategy we are thinking that if they consider it possible to deliver such weapons to the combat zone to launch strikes on our territory and create problems for us why don’t we have the right to supply weapons of the same dive to some regions of the world where they can be used to launch strikes on sensitive facilities of the countries that do it to Russia the answer may be asymmetric if the Russian president follows through on this threat this would be a major inflection point in this war but a bigger concern that’s been flaged by the American officials is the paths taken by the Russian warships who appear to be headed for some surprise and unannounced war games in the Caribbean the United States which is tracking the Russian warships and aircraft has indicated that the Russian warships could make for calls in Cuba and even in Venezuela as they engage in this exercise of heightened air and Naval fire power the last time the Russian warships had moved into the Caribbean for military drills was in 2019 but what is different this time round is that the United States and Russia are caught in an eyeball to eyeball conference ation on the battlefields of Ukraine now even After experiencing the horrors of two World Wars the world continues to be held hostage to the actions and the rhetoric of the West Nations a day after the Russian president warned that he would deploy weapons closer to the West France has now said that it will send fighter jets to Ukraine and our next Port tells you is to have things are shaping out towards in these uncertain times in the annals of history there are moments when the drum beats of War grow louder and the world is left staring at an abyss today NATO and Russia are placing nations in a similar situation France is increasingly hardening its stand pushing NATO deeper into a possible conflict with Russia in an ironic backdrop for war talks during Ukrainian president V zelinsky’s visit to France for D-Day celebrations macro pledged to send Mirage 2,000 war planes to Ukraine tomorrow we will launch a new cooperation and announce the transfer of Mir 2005 French fighter jets that will allow Ukraine to protect its soil its airspace and as early as tomorrow we will start a pilot’s training program and transfer of planes macron’s hawkishness doesn’t stop at Hardware he’s committing to equipping and training a brigade of 4,500 Ukrainian soldiers he’s also considering zelinsky’s request to send military instructions directly into Ukraine Moscow sees the actions as a direct provocation Russia has again warned that any foreign instructors in Ukraine will be considered legitimate Targets in a series of disturbing moves Western leaders have already given ke the green light to use Western supplied weapons to strike targets inside Russia Moscow accuses Ukrainian forces of firing five us supplied atams missiles at the Russian controlled Eastern Ukrainian city of luhansk Moscow says 20 people including children are wounded in the missile attack President Putin is urging the West not to forget that Russia is a nuclear power clearly the west and Russia are increasing the stakes in a dangerous game of brinksmanship bu report we on world is one the Russian defense Ministry has accused the Ukrainian forces of firing five American supplied attack missiles at the Russian controlled Eastern Ukrainian city of luhans Russia claims at least about three people have been killed and 20 others including children have been injured in this attack the Ministries further said that four of the five missiles were shot down by air defense systems but one of the missiles damaged two residential apartment blocks the Russian Ministry of emergencies has also released a video clip showing its Rescuers working amongst the debris of an apartment building that have been hit in the shelling the Russia’s Army is also claimed to have captured another Village in Ukraine’s Eastern region of donet where it has been advancing against kef’s stretched military the Russia’s defense Ministry said in the past week that its troops have improved their positions along the front lines and have liberated the settlement of par kovic while Russia says that it has struck multiple Ukrainian targets Ukraine claims its troops have had dozens of intense fights with Russian troops at different locations the Russian Ministry of Defense has further said that the Russian forces have attacked different targets including ammunition depos drone launch SES Etc on the other hand K has said that the Ukrainian forces have had dozens of fights with the Russian army in different directions the pokrovsk front was reportedly the fiercest Battleground between the two SIDS meanwhile US president joban has pledged his support for Ukraine and has announced another $225 million of Aid military aid to Kev as he met with the Ukrainian leader Vladimir zilinski for talks in Paris the B has assured zilinski that the United States will stand with him he’s also expressed regret for the delay in getting the new Aid through the Congress and the announcement came after both leaders attended the hugely symbolic dday commemorations in northern France furthermore NATO’s Secretary General yens Stenberg said that there were no immediate military threats against any members of The Alliance after the Kremlin accused the west of potentially escalating the war in Ukraine the statement follows heartened tensions between Russia and the NATO members and last week the Kremlin accused the west of entering a new round of escalations intentions after US president Joan lifted the restrictions on Ukraine to use weapons supplied by the United States against military targets on Russian territory to defend KV so as France firms up its STS on the way the war should be fought for Ukraine Russia has arrested a French national France has confirmed the news but has denied the Russian assertion that the individual arrested was working to gather intelligence for the French agencies now the Swiss base nor for-profit Center for humanitarian dialogue has said that the arrested individual is a 47-year-old Lawrence vasia who worked for it as an advisor on Russia and Eurasia Russian investigators have said that the man will be charged for failing to foreign agent law widely in the past decade on opposition figures journalists and organizations critical of the Kremlin French president Emanuel macron has denied that vattier worked for the French State he called the arrest part of a campaign of disinformation by Moscow well from the Israel Hamas War let’s now shift our Focus to another warfront the ongoing Ukraine Russia war in the latest and in one of the Kremlin strongest signals to date that this is Europe’s deadliest war since World War II Russian President Vladimir Putin said that Russia has no need to use nuclear weapons to secure victory in Ukraine indicating that it will not escalate into a nuclear war tick everything is written there using nuclear weapons is possible in case of an exceptional threat to the sovereignty and territorial Integrity of the country in exceptional cases I don’t think there is such a case case now and there is no need for that but this Doctrine is a living instrument and we watch closely what is happening in the world around us we do not exclude making some changes to this Doctrine Putin said that Russia has captured 47 Ukrainian towns and Villages since the start of 2024 Putin has however shut down the idea of military mobilization and further added that he was ready to engage in peace talk with Ukraine but only if Moscow could get agreements that were in Russia’s interests tiis of 1. We understand that everyone has a right to resist or betray his brothers or sisters.
But why not go yourself to fight and send someone for your greed?

  2. Do you mean Germany enter the war because of Russia decline the last proposal the Nazi prepared during ww2? Why Germany want to partake in this war? According to the history German and Japan want to control the world. But fail. What are you suggesting now? Another global war? Plz stop and don't take part. You and Japan.

  3. So let's be clear, Putin is totally out of order with this war he started back in 2014, first by annexing Crimea and then the infiltration of Luhansk and Donetsk, starting a street war against the Ukrainian authorities. No one invited him in, he just did it. Lied about the intention right to the day before the war. Continued to call it a Special Military Operation, but it was a war.

Russian troops could leave Ukraine and the balance of power could be restored, it's within grasp. They just need to leave and it would all be over. It's all in their control to disengage and go home.

Peace is a precious commodity and one people can never take for granted. We need to hold onto peace, if it's possible. However, once a war has been started, or an aggressive state engages in a hostile action, it should be regarded as that of a threat to World security.

If we don't do more to end confrontation early, then gradually the aggressor state becomes more aggressive until it is threatening anyone and everyone.

We may have reached a point in time that requires a standout JFK Moment. I'm not sure that we will see one, just yet.
