The King and Queen Have Lunch With Veterans at D-Day Ceremony

The King and Queen met with veterans at a ceremony marking the 80th anniversary of the World War II “D-Day” landings in Normandy.

  1. So sweet seeing how kind and caring the KIng and Queen are with the veterans. The veterans seemed to really enjoy lunch with them. Watching all this was very heartwarming. I hope Harry and Meghan can take some lessons in caring, consideration and respect for others from the King and Queen. Well done King Charles, Queen Camilla and not to forget Prince William.

  2. Comment ne pas noter cette attitude naturelle non feinte et réellement sincère du couple royal britannique envers les vétérans ! Noblesse oblige, bien sûr. C’est tout ce qu’on admirait également de la part de la Reine Elisabeth II. Un moment de grâce montrant qu’on peut être proche du peuple sans perdre son rang. Merci au Roi Charles III et à la Reine Camilla pour exprimer tant d’humanité.

  3. I find it ridiculous that Prince Charles that never even spent one day in the army,is wearing so many Boy Scouts medals beside the heroes that gave their all to protect their country are wearing one or two medals for heroism!

  4. Dusgusted how charles can talk to these people who BBC describe as rightwing extremists and football thugs after the celebration the other saturday

  5. Seeing Charles as a kind & benevolent monarch is touching. Especially when I remember how many people predicted his reign would be a catastrophe.
