3. Unless we’re going to keep him as second and sign someone else when Sommer leaves (which would be silly), I don’t understand why we won’t pay more to get Bento. There’s a reason Bournemouth is interested in this guy while supposedly a few top clubs are after Bento

4. I think people are sleeping on Josep.

   He is a good shot stopper, but he can add a lot to our system that Sommer cannot.

   Remember in UCL with Onana, we were not victims of strong pressing like we were this season. That is because Sommer cannot play well with his feet where Onana had great ball skills and Inzaghi used him as an addition to create numerical advantages against the press…. The best example was the away fixture at Camp Neu, rewatch the highlights if you do not remember but when they were pressing due to desperation was when we became a real threat even without Lukaku or a vertical threat.

   I want to see this profile play with Thuram, and Martinez is it. Sommer and some coaching can add some shot stopping skills but he is already adequate in this area.

   I think maybe he will really contribute in UCL soon. If we had him against Sociedad away there may have been some more threats for us and we could have punished their press prior to the 80th minute.
