What is the likely hood of NK, China, or Russia , by engaging first with missles, artillary, or dropping bombs etc…, and actually hitting that carrier?
I don't care about your personal opinions on what country is best or whatever.
Realistically speaking, what is the probability of that carrier losing a lot of its aircraft if those other countries decided to attach right now.
Would the U.S. actually mitigage the loss of those aircraft sitting idle on top of the carrier? Or would it lose a lot, but still manage to muster and fend off attacks after a few minutes? Hours? Days? Weeks? Months?
I ask because that's a lot of aircraft sitting idle on top of that carrier. Seems counterintuitive to have it just sit there like that and keep a massive carrier idle on the port.
Further, if they were to be attacked rn, it seems like a long fucking wait until they can clear some space to start sending those F-18's out, no?
