Tobacco

Hello dear neighbors! First of all, compliments on your game, you're definitely heading to the final 😉 Today and tomorrow I am working on a job near the German border (Haelen, near Roermond) when my neighbor from IJmuiden (Netherlands) asks me: "Ohhh, can you bring me a few packs of rolling tobacco!" A simple pack of 50 grams of rolling tobacco now costs €25 here, so it's unaffordable.

Now, I have no clue about this at all, neither about where to buy nor how much I can bring. He usually smokes strong rolling tobacco from brands like Brandaris, Drum or Van Nelle. Is this simply available at a gas station, for example just across the border? Or in a supermarket? Anyone from the border area around Roermond with tips? I have until tomorrow afternoon to find the perfect location; might as well fill up my van at the same time! Thanks for your help!

  1. We don’t have regulated sales points here like in many other countries. The prices are generally regulated by the government (50g ~6-8€) and you can buy them at almost every gas station, supermarket or Kiosk (often advertised as a lottery ticket office). Rolling tobacco is just as popular here as regular cigarettes. The selection is often smaller but there is enough to match every taste.
