  1. Because the energy companies have no issue with solar. They only have issue with private ownership of solar.

    Also the PUC of any state should never be a little known entity as the article suggests. EVERYone should know who their states PUC is and how the commissioners are chosen because energy policy begins and ends with them. It’s not partisan. It’s not federal. It’s you and me vs the utilities operating under protection from the state.

  2. I wish they were required to put in some amount of battery storage along with their unregulated solar farms. We already have quite a duck curve in Florida with all the mid-day solar production. It would be nice to use some of that solar power in the evenings after the sun goes down to even out the grid.
