  1. This has got to have an impact on the Holyrood elections. With fewer people willing to donate, membership down and the finances already in tatters from Murrell

  2. Ah, they’ll be fine.

It’s only 9 campervans. They should be good for it. :p

  3. The SNP won 6 seats in 2010.

Then went on to dominate Scottish politics for over a decade.

    Just sayin’

  4. The article does bring up an interesting point about nominations.

Are any of the ex-MP’s going to try and bump their way onto the list, or take a constituency seat at Holyrood? That could prove to be a significant issue, if they do so in large numbers.

  5. Nae mention of the fact that no one trusts them anymore. Suspicion of embezzlement and/or fraud or whatever it was. I hope they disappear for ever.

  6. Scottish politics is in a very interesting place right now.

The SNP in shambles. Can they make a come back for 2026?

Labour, a huge resurgence on the back of hatred and distrust of the SNP and the Tories. Will that hold? If labour achieve power in Holyrood, will they make cuts to things like prescriptions, tuition, Scottish child payment to bring the UK nations more in line with each other?

Lib Dems seem to be growing in strength in their core strongholds again.

The Tories, with independence in a back burner for a decade at least, what will they possibly campaign on?

Alba, Salmonds failed vanity project got less than 11,000 votes what is their point and can they make any changes?

Reform, we’re less tolerant overall of this populist, fascist nonsense but it’ll be interesting to see if they stand in Holyrood and what, if any, damage that will do to our politics.

Greens, I think, potentially have the most to gain, with the faliure of the SNP I wonder if they can take a lot of the pro indy vote share as well as left leaning SNP voters who liked their progressive policies.
