  1. “… have decided to vote simply to thwart *** points behind *** these people.” 😂

  2. Suck it, Le Pen.

Now if only the US can kick Cheeto Benito to the curb.

  3. Someone says, far right will win elections,

Europe will vote whomever they can, just for far right to lose.

USA will vote for far right and post comments about “nazi liberals”.

Lets buy armaments from them, so they can turn them off, with push of a button, anytime they want.

  4. Technically, RN is the SINGLE party who has the most seats (not in a coalition speaking), and he doubled his number of seats. So i’m not sure that it counts as a defeat (plus he won the europeans).

  5. This is a blow to the center.

They have been gutting public services, privatising at incredible speeds, they pay the price of **governing without democratic debate** (most of their economically right measures were passed by force using the 49.3 disposition which states that the government can enact a policy without debate if the parliament is “ingovernable”). They have used and abused that disposition **20 times** in a year and a half.

Financial debt has **exploded** in his years as president.

Macron looks good on foreign policy but he’s not good in domestic policy.

  6. While it’s great they’ve been thwarted, it’s terrible that they won 150 seats, not to mention the EP elections a few weeks ago. Unfortunately, they seem to be growing in popularity. How long before they do win? OR, what mistakes must the centrists and left correct, as something is drawing people to the right. People are moving towards the extremes because they are disillusioned or feel let down and ignored by the incumbents. The incumbents need to listen to the people.

  7. Considering the winners won’t do anything about any important issues, all they have to do is wait for another round.

  8. Great job France! Kick those wanna be Nazis to the curb! Hopefully we can do the same here in the U.S!
