“Because we have Carlos Augusto who we like as a wingback, but there were times last season when he was Bastoni’s alternative. We will sign a new Bastoni alternative- a useful player. But we are not losing sleep over it, given how well Carlos did in that position.”
Simone Inzaghi on Valentín Carboni: “We saw what he did at Monza. He is the future of #Inter and we are waiting for him to return, together with our captain.”
Simone Inzaghi:
“I’ve had offers from other clubs, and not just this summer, I won’t deny it. But I’ve never thought about leaving. I’m in a place where I feel appreciated and fulfilled, so I didn’t even bother to listen to these courtships. I feel at home.”
Simone Inzaghi:
“Will guys like Asllani, Bisseck and Frattesi have more minutes this season? They’re all fundamental players. Asllani and Bisseck saw fewer minutes, but they have been just as important as Çalhanoğlu and Frattesi. They have always been ready.”
Simone Inzaghi on the Champions League:
“Our goal is to go as far as possible. We know we’ll face big teams with very large budgets, but this must not be an excuse. We know what we’ve done before, we faced clubs like Real Madrid and Liverpool- who were not superior to us.”
