Moment athlete falls off world’s longest slackline
Estonia’s Jaan Roose has made history as the first person to cross Italy’s Strait of Messina on foot, completing a breathtaking 2.4-mile journey along a slackline high above the water.
The walk took Roose nearly three hours, as he covered a distance longer than 30 football pitches on a piece of webbed fabric only 0.75 inches wide.
Roose started from a 870-foot high tower on Santa Trada, before going on to walk a distance surpassing the previous world record of 1.68-miles.

surely using a harness is cheating? Anyone with an above average level of fitness and endurance could do this…
And he still kept his hat on,brilliant πππ
I thought it was going to be interesting when I saw the title, but no.
Gnarly. I remember seeing footage of this one dude trying it between two buildings and fellβ¦no safety rope..
Idiot
sad for the error : -(
Who cares?
This is the problem with safety lines, takes away all the stakes?!
Fell off but still listed as completed. Everyone gets a participation medal….

Still good!
He should've used a pole to make it easier. But still bravo
He did not fall. He was connected
Crazy.
He already failed he would be dead if he wasn't a lil BIOTCH with that that attached to him
