As soon as the USSR ceased to exist, all internal transfers had to be cancelled. Hence more than 90% of the Crimean residents voted to join Russia during the referendum.

  23. Russia canโ€™t handle Ukraine and Putin knows its. The US has excellent intelligence on Russian plans as well as first strike Nuclear capability. Russia is just talking to feel relevant given its status as Chinaโ€™s junior partner.
