Nico: This past season at 21 just turned 22, Nico had 27 goal contributions (8 goals and 19 assists) from 37 games in all competitions.
Raphinha at age 27 : had 23 goal contributions (10 goals and 13 assists) from 37 games in all competitions..
Other Factors should be considered in Nico’s favour such as the cast of players which Raphina had on his team. Barca finished 2nd in the league and had a deep run in the CL to the Quarter finals. Compared to Nico whose cast could only help him to manage 5th place this season (last time they finished higher was 4th place 10 years ago in 13/14) and he helped to lead them to a CDR Title which is their first in 40 years.
Obviously Raph has the better goal contribution since he is an inverted winger and Nico is a traditional winger who has better dribbling stats..
The team lacks severely in dribbling and they can’t just rely on Yamal to create everything.. so having another dribbler/creator on the other side would give the attack more flexibility..
