Welcome to Thursday.

It’s time for our weekly Complaints Thread, so come on in, have a chat and a little whinge about what’s gone wrong this week!

Hopefully no fish fork related incidents though. Sounds painful.

  1. I haven’t slept a fucking wink all night, and I have hay fever. Downstairs are waking and baking under the open window. Grumble grumble

  2. I’ve been on a train to work for the last half hour. Way too early for this rubbish.

  3. I’ve had covid / sore throat / general fatigue for about a month now and I’m bloody sodding sick of it.
‘a lot of it about’ apparently.

  4. Now then, then now, now then, then, then, then now… now then, what’s all the fuss about?

  5. Today’s forecast: it’s likely to remain Thursday until midnight, where a Friday will sweep in from the east.

  6. Tried a new Chinese place last night after work, I have to be in the office today, been shitting through the eye of a needle since 4 am.

Imodium having little to no effect

  7. People at the swimming pool who get arsey with you when you join the same lane as them. It’s not one lane per person, dickhead!

  8. Waiting in the hospital for surgery. I’m bored already and I’ve only been here 45 minutes. Lady next to me is playing tiktok on full volume.

  9. Neighbours car alarm going off at night regularly. It’s fine during the evening but as soon as it’s midnight it goes off every 10 minutes until about 3am.

  10. So many things to complain about but mostly I’m just shattered

    Landlord pissing me off

    Work is intense

Going to see family on the weekend and I’m stressed not having a concrete plan

    My knees hurt

    Blah

  11. My cat woke me at 2 in the morning because he was hungry. Then on four occasions between 4-6 he wanted company, so again woke me up.

  12. Knew I had to be up this morning at 6am so body decided 4am would be appropriate to make sure I was up and ready.

  13. The arms of my new glasses are too tight and they’re rubbing on my ears making them sore. Do I try to fix them myself by hunting down my Christmas cracker screwdriver set or head back to the shop to get them to do it?

  14. Also I took a new role recently which is a step up. I checked and I officially started on the 1st of July

Just got this pay slip through and they’ve paid me my old salary

I was looking forward to seeing how my take home changes and now I have to battle with payroll and I just don’t have the energy

I’m willing to bet it’s departments not talking to each other and payroll still think I’m a lower band
