Israeli carries out strikes on Houthi targets in Yemen after drone hit Tel Aviv | BBC News

Israel has carried out air strikes on the Houthi-controlled Red Sea port of Hodeidah in Yemen, a day after a drone launched by the group hit Tel Aviv.

According to Houthi-linked news outlets, three people have died, and more than 80 injured in Saturday’s strikes.

On Sunday morning, the Israeli military said it had shot down a missile fired from Yemen before it crossed into Israel’s air space.

It comes after a man died in a drone attack in Tel Aviv on Friday – which the Houthis claimed responsibility for.

  1. I never, in a million years, thought that helping starving children would be seen as the wrong thing to do by so many people in the world. What is wrong with all you Israel Stan's out there?…Not one of you wants to help starving kids?

  2. Insurmountable conflict, endless. This war is endless…If Houthi can drone Tel Aviv, then it is too late to deter them from continuing to do it. Houthi can not be underestimated at all. It is very dangerous to the Red Sea Region…I hope this war stops in any way as it is endless and destructive in terms of human and infrastructure.
