  2. Sounds sus, especially if it comes from ap, the US and European countries, especially France are addicted to cheap uranium 235 just like a junkie to their heroin, and just like a heroin addict, the mentioned countries would commit any crime to get the next dose.

    That article is nothing more than another piece in a campaign to manufacture consent for forcing Niger into allowing the stationing french troops again and agreeing to unfair trade agreements with their recent, former colonizers. Even the article itself mentions that Niger had a strategically important drone base of the US.

    Edit: Oh, and don’t forget the sanctions, which were imposed upon the country post-coup, but yet these very same sanction-imposing nations are whining about a deteriorating situation in Niger.
