On July 9, a soldier died in a Makhachkala police station. The brutal actions of the police were caught on camera: they pinned him down, beat him, and used a stun gun on him. The 48-year-old Akhmed Dzhabrailov was detained near his home on Rasul Gamzatov Avenue. That day, he was running on the roof with a knife in an unstable condition, prompting passersby to call the police.

At 18:11, one of the officers pinned the soldier down with his knee. He tried to resist, and within seconds, four officers were holding him down. Two were kneeling on his back, others were stepping on his legs and using a stun gun. At one point, one officer started jumping on the detainee.

After five minutes, Dzhabrailov stopped showing signs of life. The police report stated that an ambulance was called at 18:07. However, according to the camera footage, doctors entered the room only at 18:21. They then pronounced Dzhabrailov dead.

"What kind of idiot do you have to be to press down on him with your knees, especially being such a hefty officer? He's kicking his legs, clearly in distress, and another officer is 'calming' him with a stun gun," commented a member of the Public Chamber of Dagestan on the incident.

He didn't die in the war, but was tortured to death by the police.

  2. You mean “strangled to death” whilst two of them stood on his ankles.

Cheap and nasty, but hey, one less to kill in the field. “Every cloud” and all that.

  3. If they do this to their soldier, what do you think they’ll do to Ukrainian soldiers? Wait, I know this one they use them as medical experiments.

  4. These guys are obviously total bad-asses. Time for them to be mobilised and sent to Ukraine.

  5. If they treat their own like this, imagine how they treat the Ukrainian pow

  6. Russians are expendable to Russia this doesn’t shock me anymore I’d expect nothing less from people in power in that country

  7. this is pure murder, if police would do that in my country they would be convicted but in russia they can do whatever they want and get away with it, what a disgusting country, they r like animals

  8. The police officers could easily find a job in the US. Working procedures and attitude are the same.

  9. Postural asphyxiation, a well known cause of death during restraint scenarios. Can’t breathe if you chest and lungs are trapped between a hard surface and a heavy object, in this instance the floor and heavy orcs providing extra downward force. Fuck em all anyways

  10. Well at least he gets a taste of the real Russian culture before he goes with daddy Stalin you know they cherish him like a god over there haha.
