How close was that final?! Nerve-wrecking stuff. Very happy Mexico took the bronze.
The archery team should go shoot down all those north korean trash balloons
10 straight gold medals for the womens team, since 1988.
No other country has won gold in this event (the even first started in 1988)
Along with men’s shot put for the USA, this was the most predictable gold of the games. Even though the finish was a tiny bit squeaky bum.
The Chinese archers were precise and robotic and what a comeback to win 2 sets to equalise when it seemed like Korea were cruising in the first two sets. You could sense the Koreans getting slightly nervy, but held it together in the decider to scrape ahead. What a match.
+Aussie’s no 1 now. They’re SUPER impressive at swimming.
I think the KOC said the five golds thing to keep expectations low cuz we shat the bed in Tokyo. When I counted the medal contenders for the individual events I knew something didn’t add up
Well, it totally could have been us, but congratulations anyway!
Hey, does anyone know where I can watch the 1/8 and the qualification-elimination rounds? I can’t find it anywhere except peacock, and that streaming service is not available in Mexico.
Where did HK medal in ?
We were soooooooo close to beating them and now we bottled it even further 🙁
I just return from the contest, it was great.
I guess with number of korean that was in the stadium(i don’t known something like 20-25%°?), it should have feels home for them.
