  1. I can’t tell you how many times I reacted like that whenever an athlete makes a mistake. As if I would be better if I was in their shoes.

  2. I only felt this way with some of the Judokas. I don’t think I’m better or anything. As a practitioner, I was super curious as to why some tried to grip lapels while in the wrong stance or immediately attempted a tomoe nage /kata garuma without a good setup.

Felt like most people were really fishing for those throws even though they didn’t have enough leverage or proximity to their opponent to pull it off

  3. my dad watching swimming: “just move your arms faster! it’s simple! move them FASTER!”

  4. I’m the opposite I get nervous for them and admire them even more because the sport must be really hard if even professionals make mistakes like serving into the net, falling off the balance beam, etc 😭

  5. It seems like many people only pay attention to these events during the Olympics every four years. However, when an athlete makes a mistake, they act as if they’re experts. Lol, it’s as if not winning a gold medal means they’re not worthy of respect.

  6. I remember when I was watching a bicycle race for the first time ever, within moments of tuning in, there was a large pile-up.

So that’s my first impression with cycling.

  7. I enjoy it when the swimmers at the end of the race have to hang on to something so they don’t drown. thatsmeleo.exe

  8. Me watching gymnastics, a sport I know literally nothing about and can barely do a cartwheel. 🤣
