“The Premier League and Manchester City FC have entered into a sanction agreement after the club accepted it had breached Premier League Rule L.33 relating to kick-off and re-start obligations.
The breaches relate to a number of Premier League matches during the 2022/23 and 2023/24 seasons.
The Premier League’s written reasons reveal City have agreed to a fine of £1.24m for their breaches during the 2023/24 campaign.”
Pocket change.
137 charges
Which games were they? Be interesting to see the results at halftime in second half kick offs especially.
This gets attention because its City, but this happens a LOT more often than people realise. Its not a big deal but rather just a procedural matter
This is all the fault of the devious Red Cartel.
Surely they gave to be expelled, who knows what they were doing during those delays 💉✉️ 💰
In other news, Everton have been deducted 60 points for having goalposts that are the wrong shade of white.
-12 points for Everton
Do it for all teams and impose punishments for time-wasting. Im for this. It is unfair if only us pay. invistigate liverpool.
Edit: why the downvotes?
How much more do they have to do…. Chump change fine must have hurt them so bad…. Pathetic
These are not the sanctions we are looking for.
115 second delay
137 now?
Fine of £1.24 million for 22 delays of 3 years. They are going to get away with the 115.
137 charges now
We got em boys
The injections take some time, it’s okay.
Collecting fines and charges like trophies. Good job City
Man City 🤝 Breaking rules
Name a better combo
1.2 million pound fine I’m sure they’ll be ok.
Great now do the 115
I am not defending Man City on this, I’m not a fan of theirs but this article doesn’t mention how many other clubs have been fined for this. It talks as if they are the only club to do this. I would bet that every club in the Premier League has occurrences of this happening in the last two years
This is like Al Capone being done for tax evasion
Man City: So i accept this fine and you waive the 115?
As a punishment for Man City, Everton will be deducted three points.
The article is pretty awful.
The headline and lead summary points don’t actually contain any information.
Just innuendo for clickbait.
Scroll halfway down and surprise! Nothing to see here
