He traveled a long way just to end up as sunflowers.
The fascination with African mercs is kinda weird. There’s lots of desperate ppl in Africa and so they tend to show up whereever there’s unpleasant jobs to do, and Putin has money to spare and probably wants to at least slightly limit the carnage he does to the Russian population, so foreign mercs works for him as well.
