  1. There’s a book “The forgotten soldier” written by Guy Sajer where author describes shelling Soviet positions somewhere in the step with “8,8cm” Pak/FlaK. According to his words, shells were traveling through the foliage like torpedoes in water.
    Now I see what he meant.
