After years of battling 2 chronic kidney diseases and only being able to start a modified training program about 6 months ago, Sunisa Lee comes back to the All Around podium with a bronze medal!

  1. love her so much. Was jumping around and cheering alone in my NYC apartment for her when the score came in hahaha.
Something about her just seems so magnetic to me.
I love Simone too but Suni definitely deserves the spotlight and appreciation as well. You can tell she’s just such a genuinely good and kind person. Go Suni! ❤️🤸🏻‍♀️

  2. Her floor routine was the most beautiful of the evening. The joy on her face was infectious

  3. i was honestly more happy for her bronze than simones gold. such an inspiring story

  4. I feel by winning the gold all around and then medaling again the next Olympics in the all around she has to be considered one of the greatest US gymnasts ever now. Biles dominated, but Suni willed herself onto the podium. Both are inspiring. Biles came back to shut up all her haters who called her a quitter- between her performance in the team finals and today she has really shown no one is really close to her level. And then Suni was inspiring in a different way- with her health problems and then all all the pressure down to the wire to get the bronze medal. They honestly made me very proud to be living in the United States today, both of them.

  5. This is a stunning poster and wonderful tribute. Suni is the human embodiment of the Olympic spirit. Her story is incredibly inspiring and I love to see her thrive.

  6. Like omg 😱 this is incredible! I had no idea she was going through this so wow, well done!!

  7. Congrats to her and Simone, but big ups to Rebecca Andrade as well. All 3 of them had extra motivation, and they balled (whatever the equivalent gymnastic term is) out today.

  8. Lee is incredible but doesn’t have that many fans online compared to Biles and the media doesn’t mention her as much. I’m not sure why. Part of it might be that Biles has more of an outgoing personality such as her sassy comment about “lack of talent lazy Olympic champions” etc.
