  1. What an incredible achievement. I’m proud that I get to stand on the same soil as her. USA baby!

  2. One could make the argument she is the hardest working woman in America Olympic History, but not to detract from the others the distances and times that separate them from each other are small..

  3. Kathleen Genevieve Ledecky is an American competitive swimmer. She has won eight Olympic gold medals and 21 world championship gold medals, the most in history for a female swimmer. With 13 medals, she is also the most decorated female American Olympian in history.

  4. If she wants to, I imagine she could keep going to Los Angeles 2028 and swim the 1500, 800 and maybe even 4×200 free relay. Her 1500 time in Paris (age 27) was faster than Tokyo (age 24). I could still see her as the favorite at age 31 if she wants to continue the grind for 4 more years.

  5. I saw something that said that the top 20 times in the women’s 1500m now belong to her. The entire top 20 is her.

  6. Her and Simone Biles both going off on the same day made it a pretty good time to be an American sports fan

  7. How sure are we that it’s not a school of fish in a human outfit, in a swim outfit?
