Last french 1 2 3 at the Olympics was in Sotchi in ski cross so basically the same kind of competition but in winter. Kind of a funny parallel.

Gutted for Kye Whyte, already struggling with an injury and taking a heavy hit to top off what’s been a shitty olympics for him. Glad the French got this cool moment though, silver linings!
Good for France. I wish they let top three in some other sports where there only 2 from a single country can compete in the finials so there could be more sweeps like this.

Usually the host nation performs better than they historically do. France has been killing it though, they are punching way above their weight. And they’ve earned it. Best Olympics in a good long while.
It’s a big advantage when you can train on your home track, reaps good results.
I watched this in a bar in France, the whole crowd went absolutely bonker in there. Vive le BMX !
