  3. Gold in Beijing, silver in Rio, and gold in Paris. The Ukrainian women’s sabre team is Olympic royalty at this point. Kharlan is also the most successful Ukrainian participant of the Olympics with six medals (two gold medals, a silver medal, and three bronze medals). She has surpassed Ukrainian traitor Yana Klochkova. A stunning day for Ukraine.

  9. Good job to Ukraine, what a disappointing choke. Other teams fell 8-10 points behind the Korean ladies once they started creating their advantage but the Ukrainians kept their composure and clutched.

  10. That was a fantastic, back and forth, final. A few people in my chat were calling it for Korea when they were up like 23 to 18, lol. I should have bet something then and there. With that team, and in sabre, it’s never over until it’s over.

    Kharlan with the clutch performance was amazing. Well-deserved medal for the Ukranians.
